Property Rates Reviews

Introduction

Business rates (or National Non-Domestic Rates - NNDR) is the tax levied on the occupation and ownership of business properties. The tax is calculated using a simple formula: rateable value x Uniform Business Rate (UBR). While the UBR is set by Government and cannot be challenged, the rateable value is reassessed every five years and can be contested.
